Impact Report 2023

The Royal Meteorological Society is the UK's leading learned and professional body for weather and climate science. In 2023 it supported 3,249 members, accredited 2,233 meteorologists, delivered 52 events to nearly 5,000 registrants, and achieved 2.1 million journal article views. It also trained 101 community leaders in climate communication, launched a quality control framework for climate education, and ran the global Weather Photographer of the Year competition.
