Salmon Youth Centre Impact Report 2023/24

Salmon Youth Centre is one of the UK's largest youth centres, serving young people aged 6–25 in Bermondsey, South London for over a century. In 2023/24 it worked with 1,564 young people across 840 sessions totalling 45,785 contact hours, provided 8,423 hot meals at just 50p per visit, and ran 41 trips and residential experiences. Its Integrated Therapy Service supported 55 young people experiencing trauma and complex mental health needs. Five apprentices and four sports trainees gained qualifications and helped young people earn 150+ sporting accreditations. Total income was £968,000. The year was marked by a visit from HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
