Impact Report 2024/25

Newcastle Rugby Foundation uses the power of rugby to improve wellbeing, grow skills, raise involvement and build belonging across the North East and Cumbria. In 2024-25, 18,500 people were engaged across 20+ programmes, with 10,829 hours of coaching delivered; 83% of HITZ participants progressed into education, employment or training; 6,950 women and girls were introduced to rugby; 15% of participants had a disability or learning need; and 700+ hot nutritious meals were provided to children in school holidays. Schools were primarily in the most deprived 20% of postcodes.
