About

Boxwise Foundation (registered charity 1207392, based in London) uses the values of boxing - discipline, respect, commitment and self-belief - rather than physical competition to help young people build confidence, resilience, wellbeing and brighter futures. Its ten-week programme combines non-contact boxing-based activity with mentoring, education and practical life skills, delivered by qualified England Boxing coaches and trained mentors through local boxing clubs and community partners. Each programme ends with a graduation event, and graduates can access further support including employability workshops, funded courses and training. BoxWise works in partnership with England Boxing, Centrepoint, StreetDoctors and Queensberry Promotions, and its programmes are delivered across 130 of the UK's top 20% most deprived communities. The report brings together evidence from programme delivery, participant surveys, attendance records, safeguarding monitoring and feedback from young people, coaches, parents and partners.
