Impact Report 2024

Special Olympics Great Britain is the largest provider of year-round sport and competition for children, young people and adults with intellectual disabilities across England, Scotland and Wales. In 2024 it engaged 12,666 athletes across 27 sports, held its first National Winter Games in Italy, and expanded its Athlete Leadership Programme to 83 trained leaders. Note: SOGB serves both youth and adult athletes, not exclusively young people.

  • Partnership with Active Norfolk generated a wellbeing value of £45 for every £1 invested
