The Bridge (East Midlands) Annual Report 2024–25

The Bridge (East Midlands) has prevented and relieved homelessness across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland for 30 years, delivering free housing advice, mediation, outreach and advocacy through nine specialist services. In 2024/25 it received 5,664 referrals, prevented or relieved homelessness in 85% of cases, and saw Housing Advice referrals jump 50%. The Triage team received 10,000+ calls in just six months, the Rough Sleeper Outreach team conducted 3,304 checks verifying 368 individuals sleeping rough, and the talk²sort Mediation programme supported 57 young people and their families. 87% of clients reported improved mental health and physical health. Fundraising rose dramatically across all income streams in the charity's 30th year.
