The Finchley Charities has provided charitable housing for older people in Barnet for over 500 years, operating 174 homes across three sheltered accommodation sites in East Finchley and Finchley Central. In 2023/24 the charity achieved 100% occupancy, carried out 851 repairs with 96.81% resident satisfaction, and deepened its community partnerships through allotment growing, food bank donations, social prescribing and support for asylum seekers and Ukrainian refugees aged over 55.
