Our Impact: Supporting Engineers in 2024–25

Foothold is the benevolent fund of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, supporting engineers and their families worldwide with financial, health and wellbeing assistance. In 2024–25 it delivered 1,257 instances of support to 1,226 people across 47 countries, paid £423,613 in grants to 122 people, and delivered 23,002 digital wellbeing sessions. It also launched a clinically validated Mental Health Check-In tool and expanded its advice service internationally.
