Fuel Bank Foundation Annual Report 2025-2026: Ending Fuel Crisis for Good

Fuel Bank Foundation's Annual Report 2025-2026 shows that, despite a more stable energy market, 444,813 people still ran out of money to top up their prepayment meters or fuel stores and turned to the charity for help. Through same-day crisis fuel vouchers and alternative fuel top-ups, those 444,813 people avoided losing access to heat, hot water and power, with £12,475,152 spent on helping people meet their basic needs. 100% of everyone who received crisis support was also offered energy efficiency and money advice, and the charity expanded from crisis intervention towards prevention and influencing a fairer energy system for people who prepay.
