In 2024/25, almost 8 million people accessed Shelter's advice services, while its campaigning secured major legislative wins including improvements to the Renters' Rights Bill and the Scottish Government's declaration of a national housing emergency. Shelter operates across England and Scotland, delivering frontline advice, legal support and systemic advocacy to end the housing emergency.
